All brick repair comanies have their specific methods for correcting your mortar cracks. But only BrickMagic offers the propiatary system known as the BrickMagic Crack repair system.
The BrickMagic Crack repair system was developed so that any person we hire can easily go back over any project and match the mortar the same everytime. Giving us the ability to expand our services beyond one crew, and only one city or region. Because how we blend mortars in Dallas is exactly the same as how we do it in Houston, or anywhere else that BrickMagic is at work!
Here is how it works:
- Our technician evaluates the shade of mortar this is based on White and Gray tones present in the existing wall we are working on.
- The technician then examines the sample for other color hues, such as red, brown, black, and ect.
- Using our propriatary color chart seen below (example 1) The technician compairs the results of his sample comparisons and determines the measured blend or recipe for creating the exact match.
- Once an exact match is prepared we simpley repoint the areas where we have cut out mortar joints " The cracks" and tool them in using a mortar jointing tool "S-Jointer"
- The technician completes this proccess by completely clensing the area's repaired, and rinces the dust and debris away. Leaving your home or site cleaner than when we arrived.
